It is recommended (but not required) to remove all clothing and jewelry for a massage. Your healer will never expose you inappropriately. Before the massage, you should tell your healer if you have any injuries, specific soreness, and if you require any specific healing. Be vocal during the massage if you experience pain or discomfort. Do not be embarrassed to say something during the massage. This is YOUR time. A massage should never be painful and does not have to be painful to be beneficial.
Remember that a massage is a time for you to relax, so keep general conversation to the barest minimum. Focus on your breathing, relax your body, and do not try to help the massage therapist if they re-position your arms or legs--let them do the lifting and just completely relax every muscle.
You should tell your healer if you enjoyed the massage, and what you did or did not like about it specifically, so they will know for the next time.
